Leslie has been practicing physical therapy since 1987 in the areas of orthopedic and sports physical therapy. An Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Leslie is also a Certified Functional Manual Therapist. She is trained in various forms of manual therapy including Australian and Osteopathic Techniques as well as numerous soft tissue approaches. Leslie is on the faculty of The Institute of Physical Art where she teaches continuing education courses in the area of Functional Orthopedics. Leslie’s primary expertise is in treating disorders of the spine as well as crania-facial pain including TMJ dysfunction. Leslie has recently added surfing to her long list of outdoor activities. Scott Scherr received his doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2012. After earning his D.P.T. degree, he was selected to participate in a year long residency at the University of Southern California in 2013 to further specialize in Orthopedics. Scott completed his undergradute work at the University of California at Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2009. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and a member of the Sports Section of the APTA. He has a strong passion for sports and helping individuals return to sport. He enjoys participating in many sports of his own including basketball, running, and swimming. He is an avid sports fan as well as always rooting for his hometown Lakers. Alex received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2013. He then went on to complete a year-long residency program through the University of Southern California in 2014 specializing in orthopedic physical therapy. Alex graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. He enjoys working with people from across the spectrum, whether they want to return to their daily activities or their favorite sport. In addition to practicing at Paulseth Physical Therapy, he continues his work on a research study through USC looking at ways to improve lumbar spine manipulation techniques for individuals with low back pain. In his free time, Alex enjoys playing golf, rock climbing, and watching his favorite sports teams. Connie received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2016 and has gone on to participate in a one year orthopedic residency program through the USC in conjunction with being a new staff member at Paulseth Physical Therapy. Connie is currently collaborating with with our staff members as well as other faculty members at USC and Duquesne University to investigate the effects of a high velocity low amplitude technique on the strength of particular muscles controlling the foot and ankle. Connie enjoys working with patients across the spectrum of orthopedic, sports, and performing arts injuries. She also enjoys teaching manual skills and clinical reasoning to the 1st year physical therapy doctorate students at USC. In her free time she enjoys hiking, running, and taking care of her 6 nieces and nephews (ages 2-8 years old).
