We are Board Certified Specialists in Orthopedics and Sports Physical Therapy (“OCS & SCS”) providing services with an emphasis on manual therapy (hands-on approach), orthopedic evaluation and rehabilitation, sports medicine, aquatic therapy, custom orthotic fabrication (on premises), exercise physiology, sports injury and general injury rehabilitation, spine stabilization biomechanical analysis (film analysis of gait, etc.), joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization.

Leslie Davis Rudzinski, PT, OCS, CFMT
Leslie graduated from Chapman College/Children’s Hospital School of Physical Therapy in 1987 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has worked for the last 24 years in orthopedic and sports Physical Therapy and specializes in treatment of the spine. Leslie has been trained in multiple forms of manual therapy including Maitland, Muscle Energy, Functional Mobilization, PNF and Myofascial Release as well as some alternative therapies including Rolfing, Feldenkreis, and Visceral Manipulation. She received her certification as an Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) in 1996 and her certification as a functional manual therapist (CFMT) through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) in 1999. In addition to working as a Physical Therapist, she teaches continuing education courses for other P.T.’s through the IPA in the area of Functional Soft Tissue Mobilization. She has also written a chapter on soft tissue mobilization for a Physical Therapy Textbook. Leslie enjoys many sports including skiing, surfing, and cycling, and enjoys helping her patients return to their active lifestyles.

Kristen Wu, PT, DPT, OCS
Kristen is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a degree from the University of Southern California. After receiving her Doctorate in 2009, Kristen has continued to advance her skills through various specialized programs. She completed Kaiser Permanente’s Orthopaedic Residency Program in 2010 to become an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. Following Residency, Kristen was selected to participate in Kaiser Permanente’s Movement Science Fellowship Program. As an undergraduate at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, Kristen majored in Psychology, Communications, and Dance, and was an active member of the Sports Medicine Program. During that time, she gained clinical experience working with Division I Varsity athletes as a Student Athletic Trainer. Additionally, as a dancer whose passion is dependent upon movement, Kristen understands the importance of physical therapy in restoring one’s sense of self and improving one’s quality of life. Kristen practices Physical Therapy with a focus on patient-centered care by using principles of manual therapy and movement science to customize treatment programs for her patients.

Jonathan Zimmerman PT DPT
Jonathan received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from Mount Saint Mary’s College, Los Angeles in 2009.  During his graduate work, Jonathan was selected to complete his clinical affiliations at multiple highly respected clinics in the outpatient sports orthopedics community, as well as receiving well-rounded experience at prestigious settings such as Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena in an acute-care setting, and at Kaiser Permanente in the managed care patient population.  As an undergraduate at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ, Jonathan majored in Exercise Science and worked with multiple collegiate athletic teams.  Jonathan was also involved with an adaptive recreational training program for youths and adults who were persevering through learning and movement disorders.  When Jonathan’s not at work, you will either find him on the golf course, or spending time with his family in Orange County, CA.  Jonathan’s treatments typically contain a blend of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and movement science principles to provide the most effective plan of care specifically tailored to each patient.  Jonathan prides himself on emphasizing evidence-based practice using the latest Physical Therapy research as a basis for all evaluation and treatment techniques.

Kristina Nelsen Miller, PT MSPT OCS CEES
Kristi studied physical therapy & graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy Degree in 2002. Kristi attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL as an undergraduate where she majored in Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy & was on the Varsity Volleyball & Varsity Track & Field teams. In the fall of 2004, Kristi moved to California from the far west suburbs of Chicago, IL where she worked & gained experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic patients. Kristi has continued to further her physical therapy knowledge & experience through continuing education classes in manual & orthopedic treatment techniques, ergonomics, & golf fitness. In Jan. 2009, Kristi completed the requirements to become a Certified Ergonomic Evaluation Specialist. She also became certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in the summer of 2009. Kristi’s treatments focus on posture/muscle imbalance & impairments, movement science, manual therapy, & therapeutic exercise.

Brigham Woods, PT DPT
Brigham is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a degree from the University of Southern California, receiving his Doctorate in 2010. Brigham is currently pursuing advanced training in orthopedics through USC’s Orthopaedic Residency Program to become a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. As an undergraduate at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, Brigham majored in Exercise Science and has been involved in athletics his entire life. Through his own participation in athletics and passion for sport he knows what it takes to get back on the field and stay healthy. He has had opportunities to work with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim organization and elite level athletes both here and abroad. Brigham understands that when you don’t feel healthy you don’t quite feel like yourself. His practice of physical therapy focuses on patient-centered care using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement science, and the best available evidence to create a plan of care that is unique to YOU. When he is not in the clinic you can find him in the ocean surfing, playing with his band, or training for triathlon.
