Manual Therapy (Hands-On Approach) Emphasized – Each joint in our body has a physiological range of motion, which is normal movement thru a full arc. Joints also have accessory motion or ‘joint play’ that permits the normal arc of motion. Manual therapy is a treatment procedure that requires intensive training to mobilize/manipulate a joint in order to restore this joint play.
One-On-One Care – On each day of service at our facility you will receive treatment directly from the same highly trained PT. We spend the necessary time of manual work with you to individually address your problems.
Orthopedic Evaluation and Rehabilitation – We specialize in the treatment and assessment of all Orthopedic problems. Our state-of-the-art programs permit the patient to return to full activity in a safe and quick way.
Sports Medicine – We have experts who are trained in the treatment of athletes and sports performance.
Soft Tissue Healing – Most orthopedic injuries involve the soft tissues or connective tissues which include tendons, ligaments, and muscles. Our treatments expedite the healing time in a safe and enhanced way.
State of the Art Gym Facilities – Our clinic is located within a sports club that offers full services and equipment use to our patients. establishing an independent gym program is easy when we can utilize all of the necessary apparatus and eqipment during your treatments.
Custom Orthotic Fabrication On Premises – We offer the most effective and evidence-based foot orthotic evaluation and devices that are ‘total contact’ orthotics. Customized to each patient for the demands of their activities or sports.
Exercise Physiology – The training of the PT includes the theory and application of current exercise physiology principles. Our exercise programs institute these principles on an individual basis and for special needs due to disease processes.
Pre and Post-Surgical Care – Post-surgical care including Physical therapy is required by most physicians in order to return to full pain-free function and activity. Pre-hab or pre-surgical care has been proven highly effective at reducing the time of healing and post-surgical care is shortened and significantly more efficient.
Sports Injury Rehabilitation and Prevention – Post injury care including Physical therapy is recommended by most physicians in order to return to full pain-free function and activity. Pre-hab or pre-surgical care has been proven highly effective at reducing the time of healing and post-surgical care is shortened and significantly more efficient.
General Injury Rehabilitation and Prevention – Post injury care including Physical therapy is recommended by most physicians in order to return to full pain-free function and activity. Pre-hab or pre-surgical care has been proven highly effective at reducing the time of healing and post-surgical care is shortened and significantly more efficient.
TMJ – Headaches – many individuals feel pain in the head or jaw and neck areas due to neck/Cervical problems or jaw/TM joint pain. We treat these conditions frequently with excellent results.
Aging Athletes – Older, tougher and smarter. Increasing numbers of older people are keeping themselves pushing the edge of the athletic envelope, aging brings an inevitable decline in physical capability, even for the most fit of us. No matter how healthy, you may need some assistance in maximizing your potential and longevity. We are here to help.
Spine/Lumbar Core Stabilization Programs – Stability benefits everyone, older people, weekend warriors to professional athletes. Our staff is well versed in core stabilization exercises, along with flexibility, strength, and aerobic training for a well rounded, effective treatment program.
Biomechanical Analysis (Film Analysis of Gait, etc.) – We use state-of-the-art techniques and equipment to evaluate your movement patterns and walk/running techniques. Usually video analysis can be broken down for the patient to provide the causes and prevention of your pain.
Joint Mobilization and Soft Tissue Mobilization Expertise – Joint mobilizations techniques increase or improve motion at joints. Mobilization can be performed on any articulation in the body, temporomandibular joint to spine and fingers to the toes.
Posture Correction – Physical Therapists are highly trained to observe resting posture, and not only use it as a diagnostic tool, but also to correct muscular imbalances that may treat the problem or prevent a future problem from occurring.
Osteoporosis – Osteoporosis is an incredibly common pathology that has increased significantly in incidence in recent years. Physical Therapy can help maintain bone mineral density through effective exercise, as well as prevent fall occurrences (which have been shown to shorten the human lifespan by several years)
Weekend Warriors – A person who participates in a usually physically strenuous activity on an inconsistent basis: on weekends or part-time. This can lead to increased susceptibility to injury because the physical demand is often higher than the physical condition of the person.
Aging Athletes – With age, the human body undergoes several physiological changes, beginning at the age of 45. It becomes more challenging for our bodies to maintain muscle mass and for our joints to withstand forces of impact. Therefore, it is not surprising that the aging athlete is unable to perform at the same activity level that he/she was once able to. For this population, it is vital to undergo training and conditioning to prevent injuries and preserve joint integrity.
Spine/Lumbar Core Stabilization Programs – The “core” consists of several muscles groups, including the abdominals and back that help to stabilize the length of the spine and pelvis. This stabilization is important to provide a strong foundation for the upper and lower extremities to be able to move and produce force. Additionally, core stability is essential for maintaining a healthy back. Core stabilization program will train patients to only activate these stabilization muscles, but also to use these muscles in functional and athletic activities.
