Our clinic is located in Century City on the Westside of Los Angeles in the Meridian Sports Club building. We offer state of the art facilities, advanced treatment techniques and technology, insurance acceptance and billing for most insurance plans, including many preferred provider plans and we are Medicare certified.

Paulseth & Associates staff members are Board Certified Specialists in Orthopedics and Sports Physical Therapy (“OCS & SCS”) providing an empahsis on manual therapy (hands-on approach), orthopedic evaluation and rehabilitation, sports medicine, custom orthotic fabrication (on premises), exercise physiology, sports injury and general injury rehabilitation, spine stabilization biomechanical analysis (film analysis of gait, etc.), joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization.

Get treated by champions - Paulseth and Associates PT is home of two amateur sport champions.  Stephen Paulseth’s hockey team, the LA Bullets, recently won the “Valencia Division III” championship, and Adam Smith’s baseball team, the Barracudas, recently won the Pacific Coast Baseball League’s AAA Championship.  Go team!

Stephen Paulseth, PT DPT SCS ATC is Board Certified as a Sports Clinical Specialist. Stephen graduated with a Masters degree from the University of Southern California Physical Therapy program in 1982 and recently completed the post professional DPT program. He has been on faculty at Mount St. Mary's graduate Physical Therapy program teaching biomechanics, anatomy and acting as a research advisor. Stephen works with the US Olympic Committee, APTA as President of the Foot and Ankle Special Interest Group of the American Physical Therapy Association, Federation Internationale de Volleyball, LA Leggers and has served as head trainer to numerous Los Angeles area high schools. He served as director of Century City Hospital Rehabilitation Services and is experienced in all orthopedic and sports patients. Stephen also participated as a US Medical Delegate for the 2004 Olympics Games in Athens, Greece. Stephen has also consulted on the development of KorFlex(tm) brand physical therapy systems. Stephen has a special interest in foot and ankle injuries and holds a US patent (Patent # 5069202) on a specialized therapeutic ankle brace and has written articles for many physical therapy, and sports research journals and fitness publications.

Leslie Davis Rudzinski, PT OCS CFMT has been practicing physical therapy since 1987 in the area of orthopedic and sports physical therapy. She is a Orthopedic Certified Specialist as well as a Certified Functional Manual Therapist. She is trained in various forms of manual therapy including Australian and osteopathic techniques as well as numerous soft tissue approaches. Leslie is also on the faculty of The Institute of Physical Art and teaches continuing education courses in the area of Functional Orthopedics. Leslie's primary expertise is in treating disorders of the spine as well as crania-facial pain including TMJ dysfunction.
 
     
Contact Adam
Adam Smith, MPT graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003, where he received a Master of Rehabilitation Sciences-Physical Therapy. In 2003 Adam received the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Mary McMillan Award, the highest award given to a physical therapy student. As an undergraduate, Adam majored in Biology and played baseball at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. Adam is presently acting as the Chair of the Membership Committee for the APTA Orthopaedic Section. Adam is a native of Long Island, NY and moved to Los Angeles in January 2004 to participate in Kaiser Permanente's Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency. After completing his residency he obtained his Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) status in March 2005. Adam is currently a full-time staff member of Paulseth and Associates Physical Therapy, Inc. His treatments are a blend of manual therapy, movement science, and individual therapeutic exercises.
